Step 1 of the flow · 15 minutes on the client's side

The intake your clients
fill in 15 minutes, not 90.

Twenty adaptive questions the engine writes for each client, not a template. Their answers save automatically as they type. When they submit, the diagnostic starts writing itself.

What it is

A pre-call the client fills out before you meet.

Every consulting engagement starts the same way: you spend 60 to 90 minutes on a discovery call gathering context: revenue, team, offer, sales process, bottlenecks, financials, goals. Half of what you learn you already suspected. The other half the client could have written down in a form.

VentureFrame moves that whole conversation onto the client's plate, before the meeting. They answer 20 targeted questions on their own time. Your consultant walks into your session with everything already known, and spends the hour on strategy, the part that actually gets paid for.

The intake isn't generic. The engine reads what the client tells it as they go and adapts. A one-person SaaS gets different questions than a 20-person marketing firm. No template. Every intake is unique.

By the numbers

15 minutes on the client's side. 60-90 minutes off yours.

  • 20 questions covering context, revenue, sales, team, financials, goals
  • Fully written by the engine, per client, no template pool
  • Auto-saved so the client can pause and come back
  • Progress bar and clean UI, feels like a well-designed form, not a survey grind
  • You get an email the moment they submit
Client experience

What your client sees, in order.

1

They click the invite link in their email.

You invite them from your Agency HQ dashboard by entering their name and email. The engine sends the client an email with a one-click link, your name in the from-line, VentureFrame on the diagnostic itself, if you supplied one.

2

The page loads instantly with their name at the top.

No sign-in required. Their name and business are already pre-populated. First screen: "Hi [name], this takes about 15 minutes." Big green Start button.

3

They answer one question at a time, with a progress bar.

Questions arrive one screen at a time: biz name, industry, stage, team size, revenue band, top offer, customer type, how they get customers, sales process, avg deal size, biggest bottleneck, hardest truth, 12-month goals, team structure, financial health, biggest win, biggest loss, anything else. Answers auto-save as they type, closing the tab or losing wifi doesn't lose their work.

4

They hit submit and get a thank-you with next steps.

Instant confirmation: "Intake received. [Your agency name] is prepping your full 13-section diagnostic and will reach out to schedule." An executive summary is generated for them, a plain-language reflection of what they told you, plus meeting-prep questions and what to bring.

The handoff

How the intake feeds the diagnostic.

The moment your client hits submit, three things happen in parallel, before you even open your dashboard.

1. Their answers

Stored + structured

All 20 answers save to your client's profile card in the CRM. Field-by-field breakdown you can scroll or export.

2. The engine reads it

13-section blueprint

Marketing, Ops, Financial Health, Team, Strategy, Executive Summary, Priority Actions, Growth Model, Differentiation, Investor Readiness, 12-Month Roadmap, plus Monte Carlo revenue projection and Investor Readiness Score.

3. Your session prep

Adaptive follow-up questions

The brain reads the intake and the auto-generated blueprint, then writes the right number of in-person follow-up questions for you to ask when you meet with your client. No template. Includes a stopping-criteria paragraph.

Under the hood

Questions engineered around what actually matters.

Adaptive, not template

Every intake is written by the engine for that specific client. A pre-revenue solo founder gets questions about validation and time-to-first-check. A 15-person consulting firm gets questions about pricing power and consultant utilization. No two intakes are identical.

Grounded in the client's own words

Every follow-up question and every diagnostic claim traces back to something the client actually said in intake. The engine can't invent numbers, dates, or names. If it wasn't in intake, it doesn't appear in the report.

Zero AI fluff

A banned-word list is enforced at generation. Words like "leverage," "streamline," "robust," "seamless," "delve," "unlock," "empower" get stripped or rejected. Adversarial reviewer checks tone before anything reaches the client.

Client-safe by default

Intake pages have no signup gate, no card capture, no upsell. The client experience is short, respectful, and does one thing well: gather what your consultant needs to walk in prepared.

Frequently asked

Everything you'd probably want to ask.

How long does the client actually spend on the intake?

Median 12-14 minutes for a fully-completed 20-question intake, across the clients who have used it so far. Answers auto-save so drop-off in the middle doesn't cost the answer.

Can I customize the intake questions per engagement?

The 20-question core is standard, but the engine writes the actual wording for each client based on the industry and biz stage they enter in the first three questions. Custom question sets on top of the core are on the roadmap for the Enterprise tier.

Whose name does my client see?

Both names. You are credited as the consultant who sent it, in the from-line, the intake header and the confirmation screen. The diagnostic itself carries VentureFrame, so your client knows you brought them a real engine rather than a template.

What happens if the client abandons halfway through?

Their answers auto-save on every field. They can close the tab, come back tomorrow from any device, and pick up exactly where they left off, the invite link stays valid.

Where do the answers live?

Isolated per-client in your Agency HQ dashboard. Encrypted at rest, no cross-client access, backed up daily. Only you and admins on your agency plan can see them. Nothing is used to train external models.

Does the intake work on mobile?

Yes. Fully responsive. Most clients complete on their phone.

How does this feed the diagnostic?

The moment the client hits submit, the engine writes the full 13-section blueprint using their answers as source-of-truth. In parallel, it writes the right number of in-person follow-up questions for your consultant to ask when you meet. Both are ready in your dashboard within about 60 seconds. See how the diagnostic works.

What if a client's answer doesn't make sense or feels off?

The consultant follow-up questions are designed to probe exactly those spots. The engine reads the intake for weak or contradictory answers and generates targeted questions the consultant can ask live to close the gaps.

Can I see the intake in action before I buy?

Yes. On the demo call I'll walk you through a real (anonymized) intake with the demo agency account end-to-end, plus the diagnostic it generated. Book here: calendly.com/jacobpitchford-lbos.

How fast can I start using this after I pay?

Same-day. Immediate access after payment. You sign in to your Agency HQ, invite your first client, and they can complete intake within the hour.
